By installing or using Storywick (the "app"), you agree to these terms. They are written in plain language because you are most likely a parent reading this on a phone at 9:30 PM. If anything is unclear, email ugurkilic@live.com and we will explain it.
Storywick is designed for use by parents, guardians, and other adults to generate bedtime stories for children ages 3 to 8. Children may use the app under adult supervision. By using Storywick on behalf of a child, you confirm you are the child's parent or legal guardian (or have permission from one).
Stories, illustrations, and narration are generated by artificial intelligence. We screen every prompt and review every story for age-appropriateness, but no automated system is perfect. If you ever see something that doesn't belong in a children's app, please tap "Report" inside the story or email us at ugurkilic@live.com. We take these reports seriously and will respond within one business day.
Storywick offers two subscription plans and an optional one-time story unlock, all sold through Apple's in-app purchase system:

Stories you generate inside Storywick are for your family's personal, non-commercial use. You can read them, listen to them, save them, and share them with your child. You may not resell them, publish them as a paid product, or claim authorship of the AI-generated text or illustrations.

We reserve the right to revoke access to the app for accounts that repeatedly violate these rules.
The Storywick name, logo, app design, and underlying software are owned by us. You receive a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, in line with Apple's standard end-user license agreement (the "Standard EULA," available at apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula).
The app is provided "as is" and "as available." We do our best to keep it running, age-appropriate, and accurate, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service or content perfection. Stories are imaginative fiction generated by AI; they are not factual statements, advice, or instruction.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim related to the app is limited to the amount you paid us in the previous 12 months (or $20 USD if you have not paid us). We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
We may update these terms over time. The "last updated" date at the top will reflect the latest version. For material changes, we will surface a notice inside the app.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Istanbul, Türkiye, except where applicable consumer-protection law gives you the right to bring a claim in your home jurisdiction.
